A little museum now occupying the site of the Fruiti\u00e8re which closed its doors in the 1970\u2019s. The museum has on display various artefacts from the village\u2019s past ; objects linked to cheese-making and mountain living. Information boards recount the cheese making process, and a film of one of the last people to work in the Fruiti\u00e8re, gives you a detailed account of life in times gone by. A shop sells you locally hand-crafted objects and you can fill up on locally made cheese before going for a stroll along one of the C\u00f4te d\u2019Aime\u2019s many walking trails. The Fruiti\u00e8re is open twesday, thursday, from 4pm to 6:30pm and friday from 4pm to 7pm all through July and August. Visits can be arranged outside these hours, all year round, by ringing : 07.66.09.78.94<\/p>\n
